A compact perennial that forms a dense clump of green leaves and produces bell-shaped white flowers, blooming from summer to early autumn. It is hardy and tolerates cold well. Water moderately, allowing the surface of the soil to dry between waterings. Avoid overwatering. Add some compost in spring to encourage flowering. Remove faded flowers to promote new blooms. You can trim lightly after flowering. No special winter protection is needed, but a light mulch may be helpful in cold regions.
