A vibrant, drought-tolerant perennial that produces a stunning array of daisy-like flowers in shades of orange, red, yellow, and purple. The plant attracts pollinators, including bees and butterflies, and adds bright color to the garden from mid-summer to fall. Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. Apply a balanced fertilizer in the spring to support growth and blooming. Deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers and maintain a tidy appearance. Echinacea ‘Cheyenne Spirit’ is hardy, but in colder climates, a light mulch around the base in winter can protect the roots from freezing temperatures.
