A perennial variety with bright flowers that bring a vibrant splash of colour to the garden. Its large, deep purple-pink flowers have an orange centre, attracting pollinators throughout the summer. This coneflower is ideal for beds or borders, where it creates a spectacular effect with its compact habit and bright green foliage. Drought tolerant once established and low maintenance. Fertilise lightly in spring to encourage generous flowering. For best results, deadhead spent flowers in summer to encourage new flowers. It is hardy and tolerates cold winters well, but a light mulch around the base can be beneficial to protect its roots.
