Ginkgo Biloba
Maidenhair tree
A majestic and ancient tree, it is distinguished by its fan-shaped foliage, bright green in spring and summer, which turns golden yellow in autumn, creating a colourful spectacle. Resistant to pollution and disease, it is particularly suited to urban environments. In terms of maintenance, the Ginkgo is relatively easy to grow, requiring little pruning, except to remove dead or damaged branches. Regular watering is essential during dry periods, especially in its early years. This tree is also renowned for its resistance to harsh winters, although a light protection of its roots with mulch can be beneficial in particularly cold regions.
