A compact, rounded boxwood, prized for its dense, dark green, glossy foliage. This cultivar is particularly resistant to harsh winters and retains its colour all year round, making it an excellent choice for hedges, borders or container plantings. Its regular shape and evergreen foliage provide a touch of structure and greenery to gardens all year round. This boxwood is also easy to prune, allowing it to be given neat, tidy shapes. Water moderately, taking care not to let the moisture stagnate, to avoid root rot. Prune it regularly to maintain its rounded shape and remove dead or damaged branches. In autumn, add a layer of mulch around the base of the plant to protect the roots from frost. If the boxwood is exposed to cold winds, you can wrap it in a winter fleece to reduce the risk of the foliage drying out.
