Rounded tree. Large compound leaves, up to 3′ long. They are bipinnate with 5 to 9 pairs of green colored leaflets. Flowering in June, gives panicles of small whitish male and female starry flowers. It then produces large yellow pods turning brownish in the fall, which persist on the tree through the winter.
