Hydrangea Paniculata ‘Grandiflora’
Grandiflora Panicle Hydrangea
A classic and majestic variety, highly prized for its large panicles of white flowers that turn pink as they mature. A robust and vigorous cultivar with an upright, bushy habit that makes it an excellent choice for hedges, beds or as a single specimen in the garden. It is important to maintain consistent moisture by watering regularly, especially during dry periods. A balanced fertiliser in spring encourages vigorous growth and abundant flowering. This variety is hardy and withstands cold winter temperatures well. However, to protect the roots from extreme frosts, apply a layer of mulch. Pruning should be done in early winter or early spring, before new growth appears. Remove spent flowers and prune back dead or weak stems to encourage healthy growth and maximise flowering.
