Hydrangea Paniculata ‘Quick Fire’ P.W.
Quick Fire Panicle Hydrangea P.W.
An early variety, renowned for its spectacular flowering and striking colour changes. Its large conical panicles start out white before rapidly turning pink and then deep red as they mature. Its bushy, well-structured habit makes it an excellent choice for beds, hedges or as a single specimen in the garden. Its early flowering, from early summer to autumn, provides a long season of visual interest. Maintain consistent moisture by watering regularly, especially during dry periods. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to stimulate growth and encourage generous flowering. It is hardy and well adapted to cold climates, and will tolerate harsh winters. To protect the roots from severe frosts, apply a layer of organic mulch around the base. Pruning should be done in early winter or early spring, before the vegetation restarts. Remove spent flowers and prune back dead or weak branches to encourage vigorous new growth and maximise flowering.
