Hydrangea Paniculata ‘Torch’ B.E.
Torch Panicle Hydrangea B.E.
A variety notable for its large, conical panicles of changing colours. The flowers open bright white, then turn deep pink and red as they mature, creating a spectacular flame effect. Its upright, well-structured habit makes it an ideal choice for beds, hedges or as a focal point in the garden. Regular watering is essential, especially during warm spells. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to support its growth and encourage generous flowering. This hydrangea is hardy and tolerates harsh winters well. To protect the roots from severe frosts, apply a layer of organic mulch around the base. Pruning should be done in early winter or early spring, before the vegetation restarts. Remove spent flowers and prune back dead or weak stems to encourage new growth and maximise flowering.
