Hydrangea Paniculata ‘Flare’ B.E.
Flare Panicle Hydrangea B.E.
A spectacular variety distinguished by its large panicles of cone-shaped flowers. The flowers, initially white, quickly turn bright pink and red, creating a striking and warm colour gradient. A vigorous cultivar, with an upright and well-structured habit, making it an excellent choice for beds, hedges or as a solitary specimen in the garden. It requires regular watering, particularly during dry periods, to maintain constant humidity. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to stimulate its growth and encourage abundant flowering. This variety is hardy and tolerates cold climates well. However, to protect the roots, it is recommended to apply a layer of mulch around the base. Pruning should be carried out in early winter or early spring, before the vegetation restarts. Remove spent flowers and prune dead or weak stems to encourage vigorous growth and maximise flowering.
