Magnolia stellata Royal Star
Star Magnolia Royal Star
A small tree with exceptional flowering that brings beauty from the first signs of spring. Its very fine, fragrant, star-shaped white flowers bloom before the leaves appear, creating a spectacular contrast against the bare branches. This cultivar is ideal for small gardens, beds or as an ornamental tree. Its early flowering and elegant silhouette make it an excellent choice for adding colour and texture to outdoor spaces. Regular watering is important, especially during dry periods, but be careful not to overwater to avoid moisture build-up. Applying a balanced fertiliser in spring will encourage healthy growth and abundant flowering. This magnolia is relatively hardy. To protect the roots from frost, apply a layer of mulch around the base of the tree, especially for young plants. Pruning is generally unnecessary, except to remove dead or misdirected branches. If pruning is necessary, do so immediately after flowering to avoid affecting future flowers.
