Malus Lodi
Lodi Apple Tree
A variety of apple tree appreciated for its slightly tart and very juicy fruits. The apples, of medium size, are yellow with a firm and crunchy flesh, perfect for compotes, pies and sauces. This cultivar is also very resistant to diseases and offers a regular harvest. Self-sterile, it is recommended to plant it with another variety of apple tree that flowers at the same time to ensure cross-pollination. It begins to produce fruit about 3 to 5 years after planting. Water regularly, especially during dry periods, avoiding excess water. Pruning is done in late winter or early spring, before the vegetation resumes. Remove dead or weak branches to promote healthy growth.
