Nepeta faassenii Walker’s Low
Walker's Low Catmint
A variety of catmint particularly appreciated for its abundant flowering and elegant form. This perennial plant forms a bushy shrub with arching stems covered with aromatic, grey-green leaves that give off a pleasant fragrance. Its lavender-blue flowers are produced in dense clusters and bloom from late spring to summer, attracting bees, butterflies and cats. It requires little maintenance, apart from a light pruning in late winter to remove dead foliage and encourage new growth in spring. Very hardy and disease resistant, this variety is ideal for borders, beds or natural gardens, providing colour, texture and attracting wildlife.
