Karl Rosenfield Peony

A popular peony variety for its large, semi-double, pink/red flowers that bring a burst of colour in spring. The brightly coloured petals surround a centre of yellow stamens, creating a striking contrast and a profuse bloom. This peony generally flowers from late spring to early summer. Once established, it is relatively drought tolerant, but regular watering during the growing season is recommended. Very hardy and resistant to cold winters, this variety requires little maintenance, apart from a light pruning in late winter to remove dead stems and encourage vigorous new growth in spring. ‘Karl Rosenfield’ is ideal for beds, borders or as a cut flower in bouquets, bringing colour, texture and fragrance to any garden.
