Fall Gold Raspberry

A reblooming raspberry variety, renowned for its golden, sweet and slightly tart fruit. This raspberry produces a bountiful harvest of golden raspberries in the autumn, after a modest first harvest in the summer. The fruit is ideal for fresh consumption, jams or desserts. For maintenance, prune dead or damaged canes in the spring and cut back fruiting canes after the autumn harvest to encourage vigorous new growth. This raspberry is hardy and tolerates cold winters well, although it is advisable to mulch around the roots to protect the base from extremes of winter temperature. This is a great option for adding a splash of original colour to the garden while enjoying delicious autumn fruit.
