Canadian Shield Rose STD

A robust and elegant variety, ideal for adding height and a burst of red colour to the garden. Grafted onto a standard, this rosebush is distinguished by its slender silhouette and abundant flowering of large, deep red flowers. These flowers, fragrant and attractive to pollinators, appear from late spring and continue throughout the summer, offering a vibrant floral display. The foliage is dark green. Although it is drought tolerant once well established, regular watering during the flowering period is recommended to encourage good growth. It is also very hardy and cold resistant, making it suitable for colder climates. A light pruning after flowering helps maintain a neat shape and encourage new growth.
