Rudbeckia fulgida Goldblitz
Goldblitz Black-Eyed Susan
A vigorous and hardy variety of rudbeckia, prized for its bright golden yellow flowers with a black centre. This cultivar produces abundant blooms from late summer to early autumn, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies. For maintenance, deadhead spent flowers to encourage new blooms and maintain a neat shape. It is drought tolerant once established, but moderate watering during the growing season is recommended. Very hardy, it tolerates cold winters well and requires little maintenance, except for a light pruning in late winter to remove dead stems.
