Perovskia atriplicifolia Crazy Blue
Crazy Blue Russian Sage
A variety of sage, prized for its slender stems and silvery foliage, contrasting beautifully with its vibrant lavender-blue flowers. These small flowers, which appear in clusters from mid-summer through to autumn, attract pollinators and add a bright, fresh splash of colour to the garden. The aromatic, finely cut foliage adds to the plant’s light, airy appearance, while creating interesting texture in beds. This variety is also very cold hardy and requires little maintenance, other than a light pruning in late winter to remove dead stems and encourage vigorous new growth in spring. Perfect for borders, beds or in combination with other drought-tolerant plants.
