Cornus Alba Bailhalo Ivory Halo
Ivory Halo Dogwood
A shrub valued for its decorative foliage and beautiful bright red bark in winter, Cornus alba ‘Bailhalo’ Ivory Halo is distinguished by its green leaves with white edges, creating an elegant contrast. In autumn, the leaves turn red or yellow. This variety also produces small white flowers in spring and white berries in summer, attracting birds. Water regularly, especially during dry periods, but ensure the soil is well-drained. Apply a balanced fertilizer in spring to promote growth and flowering. Prune severely at the end of winter or early spring to encourage vigorous new growth and maintain a compact shape. Very hardy, this plant withstands cold well, but mulch around the base may be added in colder regions to protect the roots.
