This upright perennial forms a rosette of dark green foliage from which tall, elegant, and abundant flower spikes emerge. Its tubular, bell-shaped flowers, in soft peach to rosy-apricot tones with delicately speckled interiors, create a romantic and luminous effect in the garden. The summer blooms attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Its dense foliage adds texture throughout the season and contrasts beautifully with brighter flowering plants. The flower spikes can also be used as cut flowers in arrangements. Removing spent blooms may encourage prolonged flowering and help limit self-seeding. Mulching helps maintain soil moisture during hot, dry periods.
